ssh等でリモートサーバーにアクセスし、jupyterを起動したまま束の間の休息zzz、、、(笑)。気がつけば接続が切れている！なんてことがあるかと思います。 この場合、サーバー側でプロセスが生きているため、止める必要があります。
そんな時の対処法がこちら。
下記のコマンドで実行中のサーバーの一覧が出るので、停止させたいサーバーのポート番号をチェックします。
$ jupyter notebook list
下記のコマンドで停止させます！
$ jupyter notebook stop 8888 <-ポート番号
